I am a Long Island girl, I was born and raised in Patchogue. As a kid, I was happiest when I was in my room getting lost in music. Sometimes it was my older brother's albums and others my favorite radio station. I was one of those kids that would call in to win contests and bugged the deejays to play my songs. When I was a teenager, I painted (well my brother painted) Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album cover on my bedroom walls. My love of music runs deep and it’s something I could never live without.
I had no idea that I could even be on the radio until I had to find an internship before I graduated college. Naturally, I called my favorite radio station. As soon as I stepped into the studio and watched the deejay put on her headphones and go on the air, I knew that was what I was I had to do! I would pretty much stop at nothing to make it happen. Luckily, I just had to work hard, take chances and never take no for an answer.
After working for free for way too long, I went to whatever radio station would have me and that took me to Winchester, Virginia. From there I worked in Washington D.C. and then Philadelphia.
Now, it's back to where it all started! Some would call that a full circle moment, I just call it home & I couldn't be happier! Feel free to call in and bug me to play your song, it's only fair!
