This year has been was all about mending relationships for Tori Spelling.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum couldn’t be happier about her “blended family” as she’s formed an amicable friendship with her husband Dean McDermott’s first wife, Mary Jo Eustace.

Over the weekend, Spelling shared a snap with her arms wrapped around Eustace while out to dinner in Los Angeles.

“14 years ago I never thought this pic would ever happen,” the 46-year-old began her caption.  “Society tells us ex’s can’t be friends. Society SUCKS!”

She continued, “I truly enjoy this new friendship I’ve formed with my hubby’s ex @maryjoeustace . And, tonight we started a new blended family tradition celebrating the holidays --together. “

The new pals have a contentious history as Spelling began an affair with McDermott while he was still married to Eustace. At the time, Spelling was also still wed to her first husband Charlie Shanian.

McDermott and Eustace were first married in 1993 and divorced in 2006, one year after he and Spelling began their extra-marital romance. The former couple share a 21-year-old son, Jack.

Years later, Eustace detailed the demise of the marriage in her 2009 book "Divorce Sucks: What to do when irreconcilable differences, lawyer fees, and your ex's Hollywood wife make you miserable." Now that is a title!

Since tying the knot in 2006, Spelling and McDermott have gone on to have five children: Liam, 12, Stella, 11, Hattie, 8, Finn, 7, and Beau, 2.

After his current wife and ex-wife had their celebratory friendship dinner, McDermott shared a group photo of the entire blended brood, which also included Eustace’s 14-year-old daughter, Lola.

“Such a wonderful night and new Christmas (Ex-Mas) tradition,” the 53-year-old wrote. “I want to thank 2 incredible women for making this happen. @torispelling and @maryjoeustace. It’s so nice having everyone together, and to see @thejackmonty so happy. Best present ever.”

While seeing families getting along is a wonderful thing, Spelling and McDermott could also have the makings of a new modern family reality show on their hands.
