Here's a Preview of Kelsea Ballerini's Reimagined New Album

'To me, 'kelsea' is glitter... While 'ballerini' is emotional, vulnerable, soft'

September 3, 2020

Singer Kelsea Ballerini is toning down her pop-country style on the follow-up album to this year's release, kelsea.

Wasting no time at all, the singer just announced what amounts to a companion album of the same songs featured on her third release, reimagined in a more acoustic vibe. Check out the new version of her hit "Club" below.

The new record, fittingly titled ballerini, will be available later this month. In a post on social media, Kelsea explains: "To me, 'kelsea' is glitter. Bold and effervescent and dreams that are boundless. She's who I want to be. While 'ballerini' is emotional, vulnerable, soft. Observes her surroundings and chooses her words carefully. She's who I am."

Watch her acoustic performances of "Homecoming Queen," "Love Me Like A Girl," and "Hole In The Bottle" below, live from the RADIO.COM Theater, to get a taste of what's in store!

Kelsea is set to perform her single "Hole In The Bottle" at this year's ACM Awards on September 16, live from Nashville's famous Ryman Auditorium, where she's also up for the Female Artist of the Year award.

Ballerini arrives on shelves and streaming services on September 11.
