Whether it’s courtside at a basketball game, in a skybox for the Super Bowl, or behind home plate at a World Series game, celebrities usually get great access for some of the biggest sports games. Even in the middle of a pandemic, this holds true.

Well, kind of.

Those tuning in to watch the first game of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Tampa Bay Rays may have caught a glimpse of K-pop’s biggest stars. Cardboard cutouts of BTS graced the front row of Globe Life Field during game one of the World Series.

Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook all had their own cutouts in the stands for the big game. The best part? They had better seats than Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, who were seen a couple rows behind the boy band.

While the K-pop stars didn’t have on an attire that would show off a rooting interest, the band does have a history with the Dodgers.

Back in 2019, Suga attended a game at Dodger Stadium where he cheered on fellow South Korean pitcher Hyun-jin Ryu. After the game, the two met up where Suga was snapped repping a Dodgers jersey.

Recently, BTS took home the Top Social Artist Award for the fourth year in a row at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards. During the show, the group also delivered an excellent performance of “Dynamite” with a virtual band accompanying them.
