(94.7 FM The Drive) -- Shopping for the holidays is already making Americans anxious.
About 42 percent of shoppers are worried they will go over their budgets this holiday season, according to a study from Splitit, an installment payment solution company.
Fifty-six percent of respondents said they don’t intend to spend more than $500. About 27 percent are aiming to spend between $500 and $1,000 on gifts.
All but 4 percent said they will shop this holiday season, and 90 percent will buy a gift for a friend or family member.
The outlet found online shopping is expected to be more popular than in previous years.
