After Big Hit Entertainment announced that K-Pop group BTS was gearing up to new release a new project in September, the BTS Army (the name of their loyal fandom) immediately went into a frenzy… and there were questions… a LOT of questions. Would this be a full blown album? An EP? We now, finally, have some solid details.

The new project WILL be an EP, and it’ll be released in September. A portion of the press release sent out my BTS’ U.S. publicist states, “‘Love Yourself’ is a new concept, which Rap Monster alluded to when the band accepted their Billboard Music Award for Best Social Artist in May 2017 when he said, “….Love myself, Love Yourself.””

Last night, BTS released an image that shows Jungkook in a wheelchair, holding flowers. “The direction that my heart points towards, the day that I begin to want to run to that place” appears on the poster. This is the first promotional item the group has released for a series of videos they’ll be putting out with the ‘Love Yourself’ theme… all to promote the upcoming project.

BTS has a few previously scheduled tour dates to finish up, but once that’s behind them, it’s full steam ahead on this new material the boys are excited to release to their fans. Will there by any surprise U.S. artists featured on the new batch of songs? Fingers crossed.
