Solo artist Camila Cabello has come out the gate guns blazing. The collaborations are piling up… and it’s safe to say that on every song she’s featured on, she adds to the record in an extremely positive way.

Would Machine Gun Kelly‘s “Bad Things” have been a smash without her? Doubtfully so.

Aside from “Bad Things,” Camila has also been heard on “I Know What You Did Last Summer” by her buddy Shawn Mendes (while still in Fifth Harmony), “Love Incredible” produced by Cashmere Cat, J Balvin and Pitbull‘s “Hey Ma,” and her most recent collaboration, “Know No Better” with Major Lazer, Travis Scott, and Quavo.

Personally, “Love Incredible” is my favorite song featuring Camila, because it’s not really featuring her… it’s her song. She sings throughout the entire track, and we hear CC in a way that I feel we’ve never heard her before. “Know No Better” might have been my #1 (instead of landing at #2 on my list) if Camila’s role on the record was slightly bigger. She only provides the hook on the Major Lazer produced track. I think, had they nixed Quavo’s verse and given that to Camila, it would have been even more of a solid song.

Camila is the go-to girl right now. She almost ended up singing on “Closer” by The Chainsmokers but had to turn the hit down due to other obligations. Then we know how the story goes… Halsey landed on the track, and it put her at the forefront of pop music.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a couple more ‘featuring Camila Cabello’ songs before the year is up.

Each time we hear her on another artists’ song, she steals the show.
