WIN On Fresh: Kesha & Macklemore | Bon JoviMore »
By Christine Richie

#OnTheList with Xtine is a weekly feature from Fresh 102.7’s Christine Richie that will be highlighting all things music and more, from her favorite emerging artists, top female vocalists, and much, much more!

The closing weeks of 2015 means we are fully embedded in the holidays season. That also means Fresh 102.7 is ready to put an exclamation point on the year with its annual Fresh Holiday Jam.

While it’s a new tradition only in its second year, we can’t help but brim with excitement; last year’s event surpassed expectations and this year’s lineup should provide nothing less.

Our 2015 edition has a lineup we are truly proud of: Fall Out Boy, Elle King, George Ezra, and a special acoustic performance by Sara Bareilles.

With such a fantastic list of performers, I couldn’t help but create my own personal wishlist of songs they might perform.

Sara Bareilles

I know she’s talented, but I didn’t know much else about her until I read her book, Sounds Like Me. I appreciate her music and what she went through to make it that much more now. I’m definitely looking forward to hearing her beautiful voice live for the first time.

“Brave”
“Love Song”
“I Choose You”
“Uncharted”
“Bottle It Up”
“She Used to Be Mine”
“Gravity”

George Ezra

I saw him open up for Hozier at Hammerstein Ballroom; what a fantastic show! George sounds great live and he has such a unique voice especially, for a guy who’s only 22!

What really surprised me was how funny he is. He really knows how to entertain an audience between songs, so I’m really looking forward to seeing him again.

“Budapest”
“Barcelona”
“Leaving It Up To You”
“Angry Hill”
“Benjamin Twine”
“Blame it on Me”
“Did You Hear The Rain?”

Elle King

King is bad ass but also so much fun!

I love her music, unique sound, and attitude. King is extremely talented and really honest, which I always appreciate. When I interviewed her, I got a taste of her great sense of humor, but it was obvious that she takes her music very seriously. Seeing her live will be another first for me.

“Ex’s and Oh’s”
“Last Damn Night”
“America’s Sweetheart”
“American Girl” (Tom Petty Cover)
“Make You Smile”
“Kocaine Karolina”
“See You Again”

Fall Out Boy

I’ve never seen Fall Out Boy live and I’ll be honest: up until now, I haven’t really listened to any of their music other than what I’ve played on the radio.

This is one of the reasons I love doing these shows: I get to check out an artist I wouldn’t normally ever see live. More times than not, they wind up winning me over and gaining a fan. I’m looking forward to seeing them for the first time, especially at the end of the show when I can enjoy their entire set with the audience.

“Dance, Dance”
“Thnks fr th Mmrs”
“A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More Touch Me”
“I Don’t Care”
“Irresistible”
“Uma Thurman”
“Centuries”
“My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)”
“America’s Suitehearts”
“Yule Shoot Your Eye Out” (It is a holiday show after all!)

Will I get to see you at Fresh Holiday Jam 2015?!? The show is SOLD OUT (Oh no!), but you can listen to Fresh 102.7 every day for your chance to win tickets!

Let me know what songs you hope to hear on December 2 at The Beacon Theatre!

In the meantime, here’s a Spotify playlist of every song I hope to hear! Listen and enjoy!
