Have You Ever Tried Something and Thought...Why Did It Take So Long For Someone to Invent That?!!! Enter the Pizza Cone... It's pizza, in a Cone.

With Super Bowl weekend upon us Jim and me were talking about what we were going to stuff our faces with on Super Bowl Sunday and the same old food that we’ve done every year kept coming up… pizza and wings…. and in my case copious amounts of beer.

And then we discovered the Pizza Cone… BRILLIANT!!! The Pizza Cone is a cone-shaped crust filled with fresh, Italian ingredients.

It’s exactly what it sounds like…a pizza in a cone and Kono Pizza in Edison, NJ  has brought this amazing (and why didn’t I think of it) idea to America from Italy. And this morning Emilio Verde and Joe Bellavia stopped by the studio with boxes of Pizza cones for us to try… Jim stuck with the breakfast cone and I went for the Chicken Parm… delicious…. the crust is crispy and the pizza is already folded… so if you’re lazy it’s one less step for you. It’s so easy to eat… no dripping… and, as I said… delicious.

And it’s perfect for your Super Bowl party…instead of what everyone else is having!

We also had Greg Kinlaw on the phone with us this morning…one of the entrepreneurs who brought this international craze to Jersey and it’s amazing how much this Southern boy knows about pizza.
