I’m giving in. Capitulating. Waving the white flag. Surrendering. All of the above.
Jim and Producer Craig (along with all of my girlfriends led by the lovely Kim Ashley) have been bugging me about online dating to the point where I’m done hearing it, so we are embarking on the Online Dating for Dummies (aka Kim).
I will share my experience beginning to end with you…from the profile to the dates (pre- and post-mortem). And after three dates, if online dating isn’t for me, everyone has to LEAVE ME ALONE about it!!!!
But if something wonderful happens (as everyone in my life seems to think it will) I will say I was wrong about online dating (which I really do not think is going to work for me at all) and eat crow (or a cake in the shape of a crow that Kim Ashley will bake) on the air.
You know what I’ve learned so far? This isn’t easy!! I’m actually a little scared of the whole process. There are probing profile questions, picture selection processes, dozens of emails to work through (hopefully) when I finally enter the shark-infested online dating pool waters….it’s work! I thought regular dating was tough. This is quite daunting.
So this morning Jim and Producer Craig took pity on me and hooked me up with Julie Spira – the online dating guru from cyberdatingexpert.com – to give me some pointers on the first step… my profile!
