With Fashion Week upon us, we list our five favorite stylish celebs that have earned themselves the right to be called singer/fashion designer.
Victoria Beckham for Victoria Beckham

Since Victoria’s New York Fashion Week debut in 2008, her line has relied on the sleek lines and modest cuts that made her the most stylish of the Spice Girls.
She keeps up this trend with her collection for Autumn/Winter 2012 with A-line skirts and peter pan collars that look straight out of the ’70s. Of course the looks are nothing but modern when they’re being worn by some of Victoria’s famous friends like Katie Holmes.

Since 2004, Gwen Stefani has been bringing her rocker style to the runway with her L.A.M.B. line. The Fall 2012 line mixes bright neon colors with black details and throws in a little herringbone print for good measure. But always the good mom, Gwen will be forgoing her runway show at this year’s Fashion Week so that she can take her kids to school. “I’ve missed the last couple of fashion weeks because of school,” she told British Elle. “I can’t leave the kids, I can’t miss the first week of kindergarten. I just can’t.”

Jessica has certainly built herself an empire. She not only has her own collection of clothes and shoes, but is also launching a maternity line this fall along with a new line for kids she co-designed with her little sister, Ashley. Not to mention, she had a baby.
Her upcoming Fall 2012 line is an eclectic mix of mixed prints, different textures and rich colors like burgundy. It also marks the first campaign she’s done since giving birth to her little girl, Maxwell Drew in May. Can you find Jessica in the latest advertisements?
Beyoncé for House of Dereón

Since 2004, Bey, with help from her mom Tina, have taken her over the top styles from the stage and made them something wearable for the average woman.
The sparkly gold jacket Beyoncé wore on stage during the Glastonbury festival in 2011 inspired House of Dereón’s autumn/winter line yielding a collection filled with sequined styles and bold jewel tones. Bey even shows off the styles (and her post baby curves) in the line’s ad campaign.
Jennifer Lopez for Kohl’s

With its old Hollywood glamour and feminine silhouettes, J.Lo’s line for Kohl’s is geared towards the every woman.
At an affordable price (nothing is over $90) and a wide range of sizes, fans can dress like Jennifer without breaking the bank. They can also rest assured that anything they buy from the patterned chiffon blouses to structured dresses are things their style icon would actually wear since she gets final say.
