Cher is pretty excited about the new music she’s been working on.

The icon has been on a tweeting frenzy, giving a few details about her upcoming album, her first in 11 years, which she revealed would be out during the holiday season.

She also tweeted that she’s been working with Pink, who wrote two songs for the new album that Cher’s record label loved.  “Pink is definitely my girl,” she wrote. “She’s talent! Luv it.”

The singer hinted at her first single, which is scheduled to be out in October and she says, is as good as “Believe.”  And has even teased its follow-up, which is a duet with Lady Gaga called “The Greatest Thing.” A song which was written for the singer last year.

Cher, of course, had nothing but nice things to say about the “Born This Way” singer tweeting:

Of course, what we really want to know is, what will they wear in the video?

Music from this upcoming album, which also includes some help from Timbaland, will play a part in the Broadway musical Cher is working on about her life.

As for touring, Cher recently told fans via Twitter that they had to push it back to have foot surgery, but they can expect the 66-year-old singer to hit the road sometime in February 2013. More details to come soon.
