Remember when we told you Bruce Springsteen would be releasing new music today?

Yea, we do too. And we’re not liars.

The Boss released his new track via iTunes bright (OK, it’ actually still dark out) and early this morning and we wanted to make sure all of you got to enjoy it before heading off to work.

Bruce is definitely going big in 2012 with a worldwide tour and brand new album. Along with the release of his latest single, “We Take Care of Our Own,” we also received more details regarding the album.

But before we get to that, take a listen to “We Take Care of Our Own”

Definitely sounds like The Boss, that’s for sure.

The single is available through iTunes for the low low price of $1.29 (Remember when music used to cost a nickel? No? OK.). The album, titled Wrecking Ball, is expected to be released March 6th, but can be pre-ordered now.

Wrecking Ball tracklist:
