Katy Perry will perform a free concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on November 23rd, a day after she wraps her California Dreams Tour. (Also, the day before Thanksgiving)

Alright, New Yorkers, grab your ZipCars…ROAD TRIP!!

The singer made the announcement on Ellen on Friday saying that she has performed 121 shows on the tour and wants to thank her fans by “renting the Staples Center and putting on a free concert for anyone in the world that wants to come.”

No complaints here, K.P.

Keep on keeping on.

Perry’s latest single, “The One That Got Away,” jumped to number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. Check out the uber-depressing/powerful video for the song below:

If the song reaches number one on the chart, it would mark the sixth single to do so from Perry’s sophomore album, Teenage Dream, and would set the record for most chart-topping Hot 100 tracks from a single album.
