I am sick to death of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Rebecca Black[/lastfm]. Yes, “Friday” is an annoyingly catchy song, but I have simply had enough of her. I don’t need her to let me know what day of the week it is anymore. I think I got it.

This past FRIDAY (How convenient, right? *rolls eyes*), the 14-year-old made a surprise appearance in Los Angeles to perform with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Katy Perry[/lastfm] in concert.

Ms Black really seems to actually want to be a legit singer these days. She just released her second single, “My Moment” in an attempt (key word: ATTEMPT) to shake off the haters.

Watch “My Moment” NOW!

Now that she has a second single, her next move toward superstardom: befriend a pop superstar! Well, this has been the year of Katy Perry’s life. Five number one songs, a blockbuster world tour, and much more. Who better to be BFF’s with than Katy?

The two immediately hit it off… so much so that Katy puts her in the all star celebrity cast of her latest video “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).” Obviously, Rebecca can’t get enough of her Fridays because everything she does revolves around that day of the week!

BUT IF THAT WASN’T ENOUGH… Katy Perry brings this “singer” out to sing “Friday” with her at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live.

SERIOUSLY?!?! When will this girl learn that her 15 minutes has more than expired? GO AWAY! I can’t even get down with the fact that people voted her Choice Web Star last night at the Teen Choice Awards.

I honestly hope Katy Perry isn’t trying to take Ms. Black under her wing and turn her into a pop phenomenon like she has become. Like, OK you had your moment in the sun… BYE!

you are attributing her WAY too much importance. anti-talent of the moment–remember william hung? i thought so–NOT!
